Friendly hosts, beautifully clean rooms/facilities, lovely location with sea and harbour views, great breakfasts. Lovely Victorian terraced building. Crisp cotton sheets.
The main thing we did not like was the lack of parking facilities. We had to park in a public car park some distance from the hotel. Obviously there is nothing that can be done about this due to the nature of the hotel and its situation.

The personnel was efficient and offered me a neat room with the extra touches. Beautiful view down to the harbour. - Glorious view. - the location was good, close to everything you need locally. - the hotel was situated relatively near Ilfracombe Aquarium.

The accommodation was very good, food and service excellent.
Situated on a hill and accommodation is situated on 3 floors so not ideal. The rooms at the front are without sea views and suffer from traffic noise and the occasional noise from the 'Janet Battersby' neighbour. No adequate parking facilities.

The friendliness and capabilities of Sharon and Daryl the owners were first class, and made our stay most enjoyable.
The hotel was excellent, but Ilfracombe itself was very very dissapointing; so unlikely to visit again.

I liked that the owner Sharon greeted us when we first arrived and addressed us by name. She gave us a good overview of the hotel and the facilities it had on offer for example the bar and opening times, when breakfast was served, the lounge area etc. The room was well decorated and very clean. The room had a super view of sea and harbour and was very close to the harbour and town area.
I did not like that when you left from the back entrance of the hotel the house next door had people hanging out of a window smoking. Does not reflect on Collingdale at all as isnt anything to do with them was just a bit off putting.
